Danay Koftori

Danay Koftori has a solid work experience in the field of scientific research. Danay is currently working as a Scientist at Kymab Ltd since May 2022. Prior to this, they completed a 6-month internship at the lab of Prof. Paul Bowness in Immunology of Ankylosing Spondylitis at the University of Oxford, NDORMS. Danay was awarded the ERASMUS+ scholarship for this internship. Before that, they had a 3-month internship at the lab of Dr. Doriana Frucci in cancer immunology at Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù.

Danay Koftori began their education journey in 2012 at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Danay completed their undergraduate studies in 2016. In 2017, they enrolled at Imperial College London to further their education in the field of Immunology, earning a Master of Science degree in Immunology in 2018. Danay continued their academic pursuits at Imperial College London and from 2018 to 2022, they worked towards obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology.
