Fernando Mateus

Fernando Mateus has over 20 years of experience in the field of Information and Communication Technology. In 1996, they began their career as the CTO of Binar Media. In 1998, they became the Corporate Internet Manager of Norsistemas S.A. at PSS Information Technologies. From 2000 to 2006, they were the Information and Communication Technology Projects Manager at Soluziona-Indra. In 2006, they founded and served as CTO of aquaMobile. In 2011, they became a teacher at Proximity and Mobile Marketing Senior Program ICM/ESIC Business & Marketing School at ICEMD. In 2012, they founded and served as COO of Alien Ventures. In the same year, they also became a member of the expert program of Business Creation Competition UPM actúaUPM at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Cybersecurity Manager – Vulnerability Management at Liberbank. Since 2018, they have been the Founder and CEO of Kymatio. Human Firewall Activation, providing comprehensive human cyber risk management.

Fernando Mateus has an extensive educational background. Fernando began their studies in 1990 at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where they earned a Technical Specialist in Radio Diagnostic (T.E.R.). Fernando then attended the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. from 1992 to 1997 and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics. In 2008 and 2009, they attended the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and earned an actúaUPM in the Programa de Creación de Empresas de Base Tecnológica UPM. From 2013 to 2015, they attended the Universidad Europea and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering. Most recently, they attended IEBS from 2015 to 2016 and earned a Master's degree in Mobile Business, specializing in Technologies, Apps and Mobile Marketing.
