How you’ll contribute:

  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to ensure achievement of organizational goals and success of portfolio activities
  • Create candidate pipeline approach that enables business continuity in critical areas
  • Manage, develop and build a strong, flexible talent acquisition team to meet evolving hiring and organizational design needs
  • Evolve interview and assessment process to improve data gathering and efficient talent decisions
  • Owns both the overall TA strategy and leans into recruitment activities, including owning requisitions, in order to stay close to the needs of the business and the quality of our process
  • Develop trust-based relationships across all functions and levels of the company; collaborate closely with People Partners to understand business and talent priorities
  • Prioritize and drive improvements for candidate experience as extension of our culture
  • Partner with Communications and People + Culture teams on branding and external communication projects
  • Create and maintain recruiting analytics & reporting to better understand trends and talent activity; optimize talent systems to enhance candidate management and process flows
  • Launch co-op and student community programs in partnership with business leaders
  • Champion our core values of Pioneer, Collaborate & Belong in all recruitment, culture and people initiatives

Skills and experience you’ll bring:

  • 12+ years of talent acquisition experience, with 2+ years of experience as the leader of the TA function
  • Full cycle life sciences recruiting experience with a passion for recruiting and a high bar on talent
  • Critical thinker with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with leadership and hiring teams, make thoughtful recommendations and drive alignment
  • Demonstrated experience developing fit-for-purpose processes, analytics, and platforms that help streamline workflows, improve time to hire and ensure a diverse slate of high-quality talent
  • Adaptable, resilient and embodies high leadership & self-awareness capabilities
  • Strong communicator and excellent influencer with ability to flex approach as needed to drive solutions
  • Self-starter, able to drive work forward within fast-paced, dynamic and high growth environment with a track record of execution
