Tom Skripps

Tom Skripps is the Co-Founder and CTO of Kyra Medical. Tom has over fifteen years of experience in the medical device industry, and has been instrumental in the development and marketing of several groundbreaking products.

Skripps began their career at Allen Medical Systems, where they served as Director of New Product Development and Marketing. During their six years with the company, they led a team of developers in creating several new products that changed the landscape of the medical industry. Tom also oversaw the division’s intellectual property strategy, helping to protect the company’s interests.

In 2011, Skripps left Allen Medical to start their own company, OYO Sportstoys. OYO quickly became the fastest growing hardgood licensee in professional sports, thanks in part to Skripps’s ability to secure licenses with most major sport leagues and players associations. Tom also developed a complex factory and manufacturing process that allowed the company to produce thousands of different SKUs quickly and efficiently.

In 2015, Skripps sold OYO Sportstoys and co-founded Kyra Medical, where they currently serve as CTO. Kyra Medical is a cutting-edge data-driven medical technology company that is changing the way people receive care. Under Skripps’s leadership, Kyra Medical has developed several innovative products that are improving the lives of patients around the world.

Tom Skripps attended Arizona State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
