Dr. Mark Eley currently serves as the Elementary School Principal at Kyrene School District since July 2023 and has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Grand Canyon University since June 2012. With extensive experience in educational leadership, Dr. Eley was previously the School Principal at Tempe Elementary School District from July 2008 to July 2023 and the Reading First Implementation Director at the Arizona Department of Education from November 2006 to July 2008. Prior roles include Educational Service Agency Director at Maricopa County Superintendent of Schools Office and Program Director for the 21st Century Community Learning Center. Dr. Eley's educational background includes a Doctorate in Educational Administration and Supervision from Arizona State University, a Master's in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University, and a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.
