Ivan A. Campos Varela, P.E. is an accomplished structural engineer with extensive experience in the field. Since June 2014, Ivan has been with L.A. Fuess Partners, progressing through roles from Project Engineer to Associate Principal. Prior to this, Ivan worked as an Assistant Structural Engineer at Quiroga-Pfeiffer Engineering Corporation and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of New Mexico, where research focused on Composite Action on the Strength of Wood Roof Systems. Ivan began their career at Armendariz y Asociados as a Structural Design Engineer, designing various concrete and masonry structures. Academically, Ivan holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering from The University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua.
