Sachin Kottearachchi

Sachin Kottearachchi is a data science professional currently serving as the Head of Data Science - National Manager at LB Finance PLC since August 2023. Prior experiences include roles as Senior Consultant in Data Engineering and Analytics at Virtusa, Assistant Manager as a Data Engineer at Union Assurance PLC, and Actuarial Analyst at Sri Lanka Insurance, where responsibilities encompassed maintaining actuarial models and conducting financial forecasting. Additional experience includes serving as a Logistics Planner at Solid Future (Pvt) Ltd. and an internship at the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Sachin holds a Master of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, expected to complete in June 2024, and a Bachelor of Science (Special) in Statistics from the same institution, completed in 2020. Educational background also includes attendance at D. S. Senanayake College from 2000 to 2013.
