Jay Chua

Jay Chua is a seasoned professional in data science and AI, currently serving as Principal of AI and Data Science at L Catterton since February 2024. With prior experience as Head of Data Science at Brex, Jay led teams to drive data-driven decision-making across various business functions. At Merrill Lynch, Jay was responsible for enhancing operational processes through supervision analytics, while at FINRA, Jay established a data science team focused on predictive modeling for regulatory operations. An earlier role as Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company involved advising executives on strategic growth through analytics. Jay's career began as an Equity Derivatives Financial Engineer at Societe Generale, supported by an M.Eng. in Financial Engineering from Cornell University and a B.Sc. in EECS from the University of California, Berkeley.
