David Yanatsis serves as the Vice President of Engineering & Technology at L3Harris Technologies, overseeing approximately 8,000 engineers and responsible for the strategic growth and technical direction of the $7 billion Space and Airborne Systems Segment. With a robust background in engineering leadership, David previously held roles including Vice President of Space Engineering, where David directed unified technical strategies for the Space business, and Senior Director of Mechanical Engineering, leading a sizable team across multiple sites. Prior experience includes director-level positions at Harris Corporation focused on strategic growth and profit/loss responsibilities for significant enterprises. David’s technical expertise was further developed during his tenure as a Program Manager at Exelis, where successful program execution was a key focus. Academic credentials include advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Rochester, along with executive training from The Wharton School.
