Trevor Kavanaugh

Trevor Kavanaugh is a skilled scientist and software engineering professional with extensive experience in developing advanced embedded software solutions. Currently serving as a Software Lead at L3Harris Technologies since October 2016, Trevor focuses on Protected Communications Internal Research and Development projects, employing expertise in program leadership, C++, and various software development tools. Prior to this role, Trevor held multiple positions at GE Bently Nevada from March 2008 to September 2016, including Engineering Technical Lead, where Trevor provided career guidance to engineering teams and led firmware projects for gas turbine technologies. Trevor's earlier career includes software engineering roles at DRS Technologies, Inc. and CSC, where foundational skills in radar display systems and embedded programming were established. Trevor earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Villanova University in 2003.
