Oscar Hernandez, M.A., AMFT, currently serves as a Behavioral Health Clinician at La Clínica de La Raza since May 2024. Prior experience includes the role of Program Director at Turning Point Community Programs, where management of a community mental health clinic with over 30 mental health professionals took place from January 2022 to April 2024. Oscar also held positions such as Clinical Director and Marriage and Family Therapy Intern during a traineeship. Additional experience includes Quality Assurance Manager and Program Director roles at Homeward Bound of Marin from January 2019 to November 2021, as well as working as a Housing Case Manager and Recovery Support Coordinator at La Causa, Inc., from 2018 to 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco, and both a Bachelor’s Degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
