Reuben Burnside

Reuben Burnside is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and operations management. Currently serving as the Owner of Local Haven since June 2024, Reuben focuses on creating authentic vacation experiences that immerse guests in the local culture. Prior to this venture, Reuben was the Director of Technical Process Development at La Colombe Coffee Roasters from February 2023, and held various engineering roles including Senior Operations Engineer at MillerKnoll and Operations Engineer at Herman Miller. Reuben's expertise includes process improvement, capacity increases, and Lean manufacturing principles gained during tenure as an Industrial Engineer at DENSO Thermal Systems S.p.A. and as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Camso. Reuben holds a degree in Engineering Management Technology from the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Western Michigan University.
