Ben Usen

Ben Usen has had a diverse range of work experiences in the coffee industry. Ben started their career in 2013 by founding Installation Cold Brew, an all-natural coffee concentrate business. Ben owned and managed the company until 2018.

In 2015, Ben worked as a Sales Representative at KeepCup, where they promoted the use of reusable cups and aimed to reduce disposable cup waste.

From 2016 to 2018, Ben worked at La Colombe Coffee Roasters as a Sales Executive and then as an LA Market Sales Representative and Account Manager. Ben was responsible for selling products and managing client accounts.

In 2020, Ben rejoined La Colombe Coffee Roasters as the LA Market Sales Manager. Ben led a team of Sales Representatives and Account Managers, focused on growing business and closing large accounts.

Most recently, Ben became the Regional Sales Director - West for La Colombe Coffee Roasters in July 2022. Their responsibilities in this role are not specified.

Ben Usen received a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, and Music from the University of Arizona, completing their education between 2003 and 2007. In addition, they obtained certifications such as AST Trainer from the Specialty Coffee Association in 2017 and SCA Barista Guild Certification Level 2 in 2012.
