Saskia Hatvany

Saskia Hatvany is a visual journalist currently employed at Tribune-La Crosse Tribune since July 2023, where responsibilities include photography, writing, and video production. Previously, Saskia served as Communications Officer for The ALERT Project at Earth Island Institute from December 2019 to June 2023, managing website and social media content, copywriting, and coordinating communications surrounding legal issues. Additional experience includes hosting and producing the Globetrotters Podcast, managing the International Relations Journal and Xpress Magazine, and various editorial roles at Post News Group and Laney Tower. Saskia has a bachelor's degree in Journalism and International Relations from San Francisco State University, complemented by an associate's degree in Journalism from Laney College and an International Baccalauréat from Centre International de Valbonne.
