Brian Majlin

Brian Majlin is an accomplished journalist and educator currently serving as a weekend and culture journalist at la diaria since December 2022. In addition to this role, Brian is the academic coordinator for the Journalism career and a professor of Journalism Genres I and Media History at Universidad ORT Uruguay since March 2021. Brian co-hosts the program "Geografías Inestables - Las conversaciones" on El Espectador 810 and has previously held positions at Montevideo Portal and Página 12, among others. Brian's extensive educational background includes a Master's and Specialist degree in Education from Universidad de 'San Andrés' and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires, complemented by training in journalism from TEA. Brian has also contributed to several organizations, including Chequeado and Médecins Sans Frontières, showcasing a diverse skill set in social media coordination and content management.
