Facundo Verdun Cristiano

Facundo Verdun Cristiano is a seasoned journalist currently working at la diaria since January 2021, contributing to various sections including Sports, Politics, Labor, and Environment, while also producing content for la diaria Vivo and collaborating in the sports section Garra. In addition to journalism, Facundo serves as an Ayudante Grado 1 in research and extension within the Group of Social and Cultural Studies of Sport at Universidad de la República since October 2022. Previous experience includes tutoring Basic Cycle students and managing social media content at Colegio San Ignacio from August 2018 to October 2023, and advising on social service actions for the Movimiento Magis. Facundo also held roles as a Collaborative Honorary member at Universidad de la República from May 2019 to December 2021, and taught English at the UTU between February 2018 and February 2019, along with working as a free time and recreation educator at Colegio San Ignacio in 2017. Facundo holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Universidad de la República, completed in 2020.
