Brandy Van Pelt-Ramirez

Brandy Van Pelt-Ramirez is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in community health and social services. Since December 2018, Brandy has served in various leadership roles at La Familia Medical Center in Santa Fe, including Chief Executive Officer, overseeing a range of programs such as Community Health and Healthcare for the Homeless. Prior to this, Brandy held key positions at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, where responsibilities included directing clinical operations and managing care coordination efforts for Medicaid members. Brandy began a career in healthcare at Lovelace Women's Hospital, where a successful NICU Family Support program received national recognition. With a strong educational background, including a Doctorate in Health Care Administration from Capella University, Brandy is committed to enhancing health service delivery and support for vulnerable populations.
