Derek Hytrek

Derek Hytrek is an accomplished AppleTV Content Creator currently with LA Galaxy since August 2023. Prior experience includes a Video Production Intern role at redthread from June 2022 to July 2023, a Creative Media Intern position in the Athletic Department at the University of Nebraska Lincoln from August 2020 to May 2023, and a Creative Director/Social Media Manager role at Warren Academy from March 2021 to June 2022, where content production and strategy for social media were key responsibilities. Additionally, Derek served as a Content and Media Producer for the Nebraska Governance and Technology Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Law School between May 2021 and April 2022, focusing on writing, directing, shooting, and editing various content. Derek holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Emerging Media Arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, earned in 2023.
