Tyson Wahl

Tyson Wahl is an accomplished soccer professional with extensive experience in player development and management. Currently serving as Academy Director for LA Galaxy since August 2023, Tyson leads strategic planning, operations, and player pathway strategies. Previously, as Academy General Manager for Austin FC, Tyson founded the academy and oversaw its expansion while implementing key initiatives for coaching and player development. A former professional player, Tyson accumulated 181 MLS appearances and played for various clubs, including Kansas City and Seattle Sounders, earning accolades such as Goal of the Week. Tyson's coaching credentials include roles with St. Edward's University and various youth teams, complemented by an educational background in sociology from the University of California, Berkeley, and ongoing studies for an MBA in Sport Management.
