Maxine Romualdez

Maxine Romualdez is currently a Product Design Intern at Beacons, focusing on Media Kits and Brand Deal Tools since February 2021. In addition to this role, Maxine serves as a Design Committee Member for LA Hacks, contributing to web experience design for Southern California’s largest hackathon. As Design Director at Bear UCLA, Maxine leads a design consulting team that assists student organizations and businesses with brand identities and design systems. Previous experience includes a design role at Creative Labs, where Maxine worked on the mobile app Star, and a volunteer position at the Office of the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines, promoting COVID-19 relief efforts through visual design. Maxine also completed a short internship with Megaworld Corporation, creating design mockups for real estate projects. Education includes pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles, with an expected graduation in 2024.
