Cemil Can Ali Marandi

Cemil Can Ali Marandi is a doctoral candidate in Bioinformatics at UC San Diego, expected to complete the degree in June 2027. Previously, Cemil obtained a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Saint Louis University in 2022, where research focused on deep learning to assess protein model quality under the supervision of Dr. Jie Hou. Cemil also holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, earned from Saint Louis University in 2021. Currently, Cemil serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology, reflecting a strong commitment to advancing research in the field. Additionally, Cemil has experience as an intern at Saint Louis University.
