Margaret Ng Thow Hing

Margaret Ng Thow Hing has a diverse work experience, primarily in the legal and technology development fields. Margaret started their career at Smart & Biggar/Fetherstonhaugh as an Associate, where they worked from September 2008 until September 2010. Margaret then joined the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology as a Technology Development Agent in 2011. Margaret later transitioned to the La Jolla Institute for Immunology, where they held various roles, including Patent Manager, Director of Technology Development, Senior Director of Technology Development, VP of Legal Affairs, and currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer.

Margaret Ng Thow Hing pursued their education chronologically, beginning with a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences from Queen's University. Margaret attended Queen's University from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they furthered their studies and obtained a Master of Science degree in Molecular and Medical Genetics from the University of Toronto between 2001 and 2004. Margaret then went on to pursue a Juris Doctor degree in Law from the University of Toronto from 2004 to 2007.
