Rana Herro

Rana Herro is an Assistant Professor at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and a Junior Faculty - Instructor at La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology. With a background in genetics, molecular microbiology, and immunology, Rana is an expert in fibrosis and type 2 immunity. Rana's work focuses on various diseases such as Systemic Sclerosis, Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, Eosinophilic Esophagitis, Food Allergy, Asthma, Atopic dermatitis, Psoriasis, and Non Alcoholic Steatohepatitis, with a specific interest in TNF family members. Additionally, Rana has experience as a Sr- Research Scholar, Adjunct Faculty at UCSD and SDCC, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at TSRI. Rana's research has led to several publications and patent applications in the field.
