The current leadership team at La Jolla Pharmaceutical has a history of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The CEO has previously worked as the Senior Director of Marketing at Cubist Pharmaceuticals and the Marketing Director for New ID Products at Merck. The Sr. Director of Materials and Logistics has worked at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals and Allos Therapeutics. The Materials Manager has worked at Abbott Ambulatory Infusion Systems. All members of the leadership team have a degree from a university, with the CEO having a degree in Kinesiology/Hospital Admin from Ohio University and the Sr. Director of Materials and Logistics having a degree in Finance from San Diego State University.
