Monique Gaffney

Artist In Residence at La Jolla Playhouse

Monique Gaffney is an accomplished artist with significant experience in the theater field, serving as Artist-in-Residence at La Jolla Playhouse and the University of California at San Diego from September 2011 to February 2012. Additionally, Monique held the position of Lecturer II at the University of San Diego during the 2009-2010 academic year. Monique Gaffney earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from Columbia University, having studied there from 1994 to 1997.

The Tony Award-winning La Jolla Playhouse is internationally-renowned for creating some of the most exciting and adventurous work in American theatre, through its new play development initiatives, its innovative Without Walls series, artist commissions and residencies.
