Jimmy Locust

Jimmy Locust is an accomplished arts educator, choreographer, and director with extensive experience in the performing arts sector. As the Founder of The Locust Foundation Inc. since January 2022, Jimmy focuses on empowering youth through accessible arts education and anti-bullying initiatives. In addition, Jimmy serves as Dance Artist In Residence for the JCC Maccabi Games & ArtsFest, collaborating on concert productions with youth artists. As the Owner and Artistic Director of Locust Performing Arts Center of Stamford LLC and Locust Contemporary Dance Works, Jimmy has developed impactful dance programs that inspire performers of all ages. Jimmy's creative contributions span two decades, including roles as Creative Director for JAL Entertainment Inc. and notable choreographic projects for major productions and events. With a rich background that includes choreography for Warner Bros. and performances with international icons, Jimmy Locust continues to shape the landscape of dance and arts education.
