Wilfred Grant T. Paloma

Teaching Artist at La Jolla Playhouse

Wilfred Grant T. Paloma serves as a Postdoctoral Faculty member at the University of San Diego, specializing in interdisciplinary teaching within the departments of Music & Theatre since August 2023. Concurrently, Wilfred holds positions as an Adjunct Professor at San Diego City College and as a Lecturer at San Diego State University, instructing various theatre courses. Additional roles include Director of Arts Education & Community Engagement at Diversionary Theatre, Teaching Artist at La Jolla Playhouse, and Owner & Founder of Wilfred Paloma - Studios. With extensive experience as a Freelance Director & Choreographer, Wilfred has contributed to numerous productions since 2006. Wilfred's educational background includes advanced degrees from San Diego State University in Musical Theatre and Theatre Arts, alongside an Associate degree from San Diego City College in Visual & Performing Arts.

The Tony Award-winning La Jolla Playhouse is internationally-renowned for creating some of the most exciting and adventurous work in American theatre, through its new play development initiatives, its innovative Without Walls series, artist commissions and residencies.
