Anne Batterjee

Anne Batterjee has extensive experience in the breastfeeding advocacy field, currently serving as a Steering Committee Member and Co-Chair of the Mother Support Task Force at the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action since 2010. Batterjee has been a La Leche League Leader since January 2005 and is a Founding Member of the IBFAN Arab World, holding various roles including Regional Focal Point and Advisory Board member since January 2000. Additionally, Batterjee co-owns the Al Bidayah Women's Health and Breastfeeding Awareness Center, which has been operational since 1994, and has held the position of Group CEO at AMB Group since 1987. From March 2011 to April 2017, Batterjee was a member of the LLLI Board of Directors and completed a second three-year term as its Chair, expressing a commitment to the organization's future prosperity. Educational background includes Whittier College.
