Joshua Gire has extensive experience in community services and sports coaching, currently serving as the Community Services Coordinator for the City of La Mirada since June 2002. Prior roles include Recreation Leader and Head Volleyball Coach at Pacifica High School from August 1999 to May 2008. Additionally, Joshua worked as a Specification Writer for Panasonic Avionics Corporation from September 2005 to February 2006 and served as the Summer Camp Director at Garden Grove Friends Church between May 2002 and August 2003. Joshua earned a Master's of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California Baptist University in 2018, and holds an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Long Beach City College, with further education completed at California State University-Dominguez Hills.
