LA PALESTRA
Nalini Karamehmedovic currently serves as an amenity center attendant at HETHWOOD FOUNDATION, INC. since June 2024 and as a lifeguard at LA PALESTRA since May 2023. Previous experience includes a lifeguard position at Lifetime Health & Fitness Center from October 2020 to July 2023. Nalini is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Neuroscience at Virginia Tech, expected to graduate in 2025, and holds a High School Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Brooklyn Technical High School.

A hybrid between the medical and fitness industry. LA PALESTRA Center for Preventative Medicine combines both standard and alternative medical practices with state-of-the art and time tested fitness modalities and programs. LA PALESTRA provides programs that integrate comprehensive medical analysis and treatments with individually tailored exercise programs. We also design and personally oversee programs for acute rehabilitation, general health improvement, and athletic performance. Our staff is comprised of physicians and professionals in the fields of internal medicine, orthopedics, nutrition, psychology, clinical social work, physical therapy, chiropractic care, cardiology, acupuncture, massage therapy, general fitness, and athletic performance.
