Rhyan Short

Rhyan Short is an emerging professional in social work, currently serving as a Social Work Intern at One Love Life Center, Inc. and a Graduate Research Assistant at Howard University School of Social Work, where enrollment in a Master of Social Work program is underway. With prior experience as a Facility Case Management Intern at the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center and contributions to the Pad Pantry as an Assistant for the YWCA Carlisle and Cumberland County, Rhyan has actively fostered community support for women's health initiatives. Lifeguard positions at both The Y in Central Maryland and Dickinson College, along with a CARES Program Internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, highlight a strong commitment to safety and wellness. Rhyan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Women's, Gender, Sexuality Studies from Dickinson College and a high school diploma from Notre Dame Preparatory School.
