Mr. Davis served as Green Valley Fire District Chief for 28 years. Davis lived with his family in Southern Africa until 1981, attended school in the United Kingdom, then came to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona to study mining engineering. While a student,
Davis became a volunteer firefighter and found his new career. He started as a firefighter in Green Valley in 1987 and became the Fire Chief in 1996. He has spent extensive time working with his colleagues in emergency services to enhance safety and delivery
of emergency care including internationally participating in conferences on pre-hospital emergency services. Davis is also the State President of the Arizona Fire District Association representing 140 Fire Districts supporting both elected officials and personnel. Mr. Davis currently serves as a councilman on the Sahuarita Town Council.
