Carmen Pérez Herrero

Carmen Pérez Herrero serves as Senior Legal Counsel Compliance & Global DPO at La Prairie Switzerland and Chantecaille since February 2018, overseeing a range of compliance topics including Antitrust, Anti-Corruption, Business Ethics, and ESG, in addition to data protection. Previously, Carmen held the role of Senior Legal Counsel DP and was involved in a six-month secondment at Chantecaille in New York, focusing on establishing a global data protection program compliant with EU and US laws. Prior experience includes a tenure at EY from August 2014 to February 2018 as a Senior Lawyer in Legal & Regulatory Financial Services, where Carmen implemented the GDPR and various financial regulations for major clients. Early career experience includes a legal internship at Linklaters' Real Estate department. Carmen holds multiple law degrees, including a Master of Laws from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and an ECPC-B Professional DPO Certification from Maastricht University, completed in July 2023.
