Katia Gagnon

Katia Gagnon is an experienced journalist and editor currently serving as Grand reporter et Chef de division for mentorship and continuing education, as well as Chef de division for Enquêtes at La Presse since March 1996. Gagnon oversees investigative reporting and manages a team of seven journalists, while also having held positions such as Directrice principale for Actualités and Bureaux politiques, where content and personnel were managed, and as a reporter focusing on social affairs. Additional experience includes editorial writing for the Débats section and political reporting from the Québec parliament. Since September 2019, Gagnon has also worked as a columnist for Cogeco Inc. on various programs. Educational qualifications include a degree in Communications with a journalism focus from UQAM and training in screenwriting from Union des artistes.
