Lydia Villanueva

Lydia Villanueva has extensive experience in information technology and project management, primarily in the hospitality and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Information Technology Area Manager for the Western/Hawaii Region at La Quinta Resort & Club since June 2017, Lydia has a strong background that includes roles such as Information Technology System Manager for the State of Hawaii and Technology Systems Specialist III for the County of Marin. Previous positions also include Information Technology Manager at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Sr. Project Manager at Dell, and I.T. Director at Perot Systems, where Lydia demonstrated leadership in technological implementation, system upgrades, and departmental restructuring. Lydia holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Chico State University and additional education from Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology.
