Marilyn Saunders

Director of Educational Services at LaSalle School

Marilyn Saunders joined LaSalle’s staff in 2008, and is currently the Director of Educational Services. While at LaSalle, Marilyn has served as a substance abuse counselor, school psychologist, IEP Coordinator, most recently as the Associate Director of Educational Services. She was appointed to the director position in January 2019.

In her current capacity, Marilyn is responsible for management and oversight of the junior-senior high school, supervises the Educational Leadership Team, and is a member of LaSalle’s Service Management Team. In addition, she is an active member of the agency wide Positive Behavioral Intervention Strategies (PBIS) committee and is also a member of the local 853 coalition.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from the State University of New York at Albany. In addition, she earned her master’s degree in Education with a concentration in School Psychology from The College of Saint Rose. Currently she is completing her School Building and District Level Administration degree, with a Certificate of Graduate Studies from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.

Marilyn was named 2019 Lasallian Educator of the Year at the Founder’s Week staff and student awards assembly on May 14, 2019.
