Mark H. currently serves as an Environmental Engineer at LA Sanitation & Environment, focusing on advancing the transition to a circular economy through innovative pollution prevention and sustainability initiatives. Mark leads the Textile Recovery Project, which aims to mitigate textile waste by establishing a data-driven B2B reuse marketplace. Previously, Mark was a Project Manager for the EPA’s P3 Husk-to-Home Competition Team at the University of California, Riverside, where a team was guided to develop sustainable, cost-effective building materials from waste.
