Norman Yergen is the VP for Strategic Engagement, Enrollment & Marketing at La Sierra University. Norman has over 25 years of experience in higher education, including leadership positions at Washington Adventist University and Alberta Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Under their leadership, the Annual Fund at Washington Adventist University increased from $300,000 to $1 million annually. Norman also presided over the Centennial Celebration for the University, which included a kick-off event at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and a year-long series of events culminating in a spectacular fireworks display.

At Alberta Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Yergen served as Executive Vice President/Secretary. In this role, they were responsible for the overall management of the Conference, including its finances, properties, and personnel. Norman also oversaw the development and implementation of long-range plans, as well as the Conference's relations with other denominations and organizations.

Norman Yergen's educational career began with him earning a Bachelor of Arts in Theology/Theirtory from Walla Walla University. Norman then went on to earn a Master of Divinity from Andrews University.

They are on a team with David Geriguis - VP for Finance, Yami Bazan - VP for Student Life, and April Summitt - Provost. Norman Yergen reports to Joy A. Fehr, President.
