Emmy Schroder is an experienced leader in the food industry, currently serving as the Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Food as Medicine Director at La Soupe, Inc. since January 2019. In these roles, Emmy has designed and implemented programs that connect nutrition interventions with healthcare systems, producing over 250,000 servings of hypertension and diabetes diets. Emmy also directed a $1.2 million COVID-19 hunger relief effort and managed extensive partnership relations. Prior to La Soupe, Emmy held project management positions at Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. and Keurig Green Mountain, Inc., overseeing significant supply chain and manufacturing engineering projects. Emmy started the career in roles focused on continuous improvement and sustainable practices at companies such as Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams and Campbell Soup Company. Emmy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering from The Ohio State University.
