Marcelo Elliott-Lopez has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. Marcelo currently holds the position of Chief of Staff / Head of HR at La Tourangelle, a company they joined in May 2023. Previously, they served as the Director of People & Change / Head of HR from January 2022 to May 2023. Subsequently, Marcelo worked as a Public Relations Specialist at San Jose City College from August 2015 to September 2016. Marcelo then joined JACOBS FARM DEL CABO INC as an HR Generalist from September 2016 to February 2017. Marcelo's work experience also includes serving as a Board Member Trustee at San Jose/Evergreen Community College District from June 2016 to October 2017. Prior to that, they were a student at the University of California, Davis from September 2017 to July 2020.

Marcelo Elliott-Lopez completed an Associate's degree in Communications Studies from San Jose City College from 2014 to 2016. Then, from 2017 to 2020, Marcelo attended the University of California, Davis, where they pursued a degree in Sociology with a focus on Organizational Studies. In 2023-2024, Marcelo enrolled in Cornell University and earned a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) degree in Executive Masters in Human Resource Management. In terms of additional certifications, Marcelo obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including sustainability, time management, coaching and employee development, inclusive leadership, and operational excellence, among others. Marcelo also completed a certification in Business Communication from San Jose City College.
