Marilyn Anderson

Marilyn Anderson currently serves as a Professor of Biochemistry at La Trobe University, a position held since January 1995, focusing on teaching and research. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Lecturer in Biochemistry at Hexima Limited from 2009 to October 2022, and Chief Science Officer during that time. Marilyn Anderson also worked at the University of Melbourne as Team Leader of the Plant Cell Biology Research Centre from 1982 to 1995, and as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory between 1979 and 1982. Earlier academic experience includes a Post Doctoral Researcher role at the University of Miami from 1976 to 1979. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from La Trobe University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the University of Melbourne.
