Peggy Johnson

Peggy Johnson, Ed. D, serves as the Executive Director of Bilingual Education & Special Programs at LA VEGA ISD since June 2004, where significant achievements include leading the school to National Blue Ribbon status. Johnson also holds a similar position at Public School, overseeing district-wide initiatives in Dual Language and ESL, AVID, Parent Engagement, and various federal and state programs. Academic contributions include serving as an Adjunct Professor at Baylor University from January 2019 to May 2020. Johnson's educational background includes a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, complemented by a Master of Education degree from Tarleton State University.
