Karalyn Aronow, MSc, CAWA, currently serves as Sport Manager for the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games, overseeing operational planning for Climbing and Paraclimbing. With extensive experience in the sports and animal welfare sectors, Karalyn is also the IFSC Jury President and Judge for the International Federation of Sport Climbing and the Head Judging Official for USA Climbing. Previously, leadership roles included Vice President of Operations at East Bay SPCA and Animal Services Practice Manager at Sacramento SPCA, where organizational policies and community collaboration were emphasized. Karalyn holds master’s degrees in Biology from Florida State University and Animal Behavior and Ethology from the University of California, Davis.
