Karen Sturges

Karen Sturges currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for LA28 since July 2022. Prior to this role, Sturges was CFO of the Los Angeles Philharmonic from August 2020 to July 2022 and held the position of Senior Vice President of Finance at Endeavor Content from April 2019 to August 2020. Sturges has extensive experience in finance, having worked as CFO and Senior Vice President at NBCUniversal, Inc. from July 2012 to April 2019 and as Vice President of Finance at Warner Bros. Entertainment Group from December 2005 to July 2012. Earlier in Sturges' career, roles included Executive Director at Sony Pictures Entertainment and Senior Financial Analyst at The Walt Disney Company, along with experience as a Senior Auditor at Arthur Anderson & Co. Sturges holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA in Finance and Management Information Systems, both from USC Marshall School of Business.
