Walid Wasfy

Walid Wasfy, PE, is a Senior Manager of Energy Design Engineering for the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games, responsible for the end-to-end delivery of power to all games venues and facilities. Previously, they held various engineering positions including Lead Electrical Engineer at Carollo Engineers and Electrical Engineer roles at Exelon Nuclear and Southern California Edison. Walid also contributed to the Underground Conversion Program with Henkels & McCoy and shared knowledge as a faculty member at Long Beach City College. They hold a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State University-Long Beach and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
