Laura Gibson-Lamothe

Laura Gibson-Lamothe serves as the Executive Director of the Georgia FinTech Academy, fostering partnerships between the fintech industry and the University System of Georgia since January 2023. Additionally, Laura holds a faculty position at Georgia State University and is a board member for LaAmistad, Inc., TAG Fintech Society, and PayTech Women, where efforts focus on empowering Latino families and diversifying the fintech industry. Previous experience includes roles at Protiviti and Featurespace, alongside a significant tenure at Ally, where leadership was demonstrated in IT program management and strategic product development. Laura's educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Gardner-Webb University.
