Rachel Porter has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rachel began their career as a Field Instructor at Multnomah County, where they developed hands-on field work for outdoor environmental education. Rachel then worked as a Science Teacher at Portland Public Schools for over a decade, where they developed and implemented engaging curriculum for middle school students.
In 2006, Rachel served as Field Staff at Global Routes, coordinating and facilitating a volunteer and travel program for high school students. Rachel demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills during this role.
Rachel joined Lab-Aids in 2013 as a Training Consultant, training educators on the adoption of Lab-Aids science curriculum in middle schools nationwide. Rachel later became a Regional Sales Manager, generating profitable sales and expanding customer relationships in the New England and New York territory.
Currently, Rachel serves as the Director of Marketing at Lab-Aids, where they are responsible for the development and management of marketing programs. Rachel leads a growing team in developing consistent branding and messaging, and also works extensively with Salesforce and Pardot to build and launch a MQL pipeline for the Sales team.
Rachel Porter obtained their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Ethics from the University of Redlands from 1995 to 1999. Rachel further pursued their education at Pacific University, where they earned a Master's degree in Secondary Science Education and Teaching from 2001 to 2003.
