Althea Wilson

Althea Wilson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development and advancement roles across various nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as Chief Advancement Officer at Lab School Of Washington since July 2023, Wilson previously held the position of Vice President of Development at Global Health Corps from September 2022 to June 2023. Wilson's prior roles include Senior Director of Development and Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at African Wildlife Foundation, as well as Senior Manager and Manager of Corporate Partnerships at Plan International USA. Additional experience includes positions at African Leadership Academy, St Francis Episcopal Day School, Free The Children, and the African Development Bank. Althea Wilson earned a Master of Arts in Economic Development from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and International Political Economy from Trent University, alongside an International Baccalaureate Diploma in Economics from the United World College of the American West.
