Valentina Vasco

Dr. Valentina Vasco is currently a Senior Robotics Engineer at Lab0. Previously, they served as a Postdoctoral researcher at IIT, where they acted as Scrum Master for a team of eight, focusing on human-robot interaction and software development. They earned a Bachelor and Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II and presented a study on human identification via ECG processing using machine learning techniques. They obtained a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Robotics at the iCub Facility and University of Genoa, where they developed fast and low-power vision algorithms for the iCub robot. Their past experiences include internships and research roles that contributed to advancements in healthcare robotics and motion estimation.
