Allyssa Miller, PhD has a decade of work experience in the field of science. Allyssa began their career as a Volunteer Teaching Assistant in the Human Anatomy and Immunology Laboratories at the University of Central Florida in 2008. In 2010, they became an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Dr. Robert Igarashi and Dr. Antonis Zervos at the University of Central Florida. In 2011, they began their PhD studies at Texas A&M University and worked as a Lab Technician I & II. In 2021, they were appointed Lead of Lab Operations at LabCentral.

Allyssa Miller, PhD began their education in 2006 at the University of Central Florida, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology and Microbiology in 2011. Allyssa then continued their education at Texas A&M University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genetics in 2019.
